At STAGES Community Services, child safety is fundamental to how we operate, make decisions and deliver support. We are committed to creating safe, inclusive and supportive environments where children and young people are treated with dignity, their voices are valued and their wellbeing remains our priority.
Our safeguarding approach is informed by the NSW Child Safe Standards and supported by our approved Child Safety Risk Management Plan, organisational policies, worker screening arrangements and clear reporting procedures. Safeguarding requires accountable leadership, informed workers, meaningful participation from children and young people, and continual improvement.
Child safety is everyone’s responsibility. At STAGES, it is central to ours.

Family Time
Supervised contact and family connection support, guided by safety and individual circumstances.
Youth mentoring
Structured, relationship-based mentoring to support confidence, participation and personal goals.
Respite and overnight support
Planned respite, including hospital and overnight support, tailored to assessed needs.
Transport and appointments
Practical transport and appointment assistance that prioritises reliability and safety.
Individual support
Flexible assistance with daily activities, routines and individual goals.
Community participation
Support to engage with local activities, strengthen connections and participate in community life.
