We start with the person, not the shift.

Thoughtful, relationship-based community support built around people, their circumstances and what matters to them.

Who we are

STAGES Community Services provides practical, relationship-based support primarily within the Out-of-Home Care (OOHC) sector across Sydney. Working alongside caseworkers, carers, families and referring organisations, we prioritise child safety, meaningful relationships and dependable service delivery. We also provide tailored support for people living with disability, including NDIS participants.

We recognise the complex circumstances of children and young people in care, and the importance of consistent, trauma-informed and culturally respectful support. Our aim is to work collaboratively with care teams while keeping each child’s safety, wellbeing and voice central to our approach.

Our approach

We listen first. We take time to understand individual goals, preferences, cultural considerations, safeguarding needs and the wider network of people involved in someone’s support.

Whether we are supporting family connections, mentoring a young person, arranging respite, providing transport or assisting with community participation, we aim to bring consistency, dignity and care to the work.

The values behind STAGES

Five values guide how we work and how we want people to experience our services.

Safety

We prioritise safeguarding, thoughtful planning and clear communication in every support arrangement.

Reliability

We value consistency, accountability and following through on what we say we’ll do.

Connection

We build respectful relationships with the people we support, their families and the professionals around them.

Dignity

We recognise each person’s voice, choices, culture and individual circumstances.

Growth

We support meaningful goals, confidence, participation and opportunities for progress.
